who do you say i am? companion.

‘when i picture Jesus, i don't really think of a face, i think of scenes. in one, i think of Him standing beside me, holding my hand and leading me as we walk together. for me, it's humbling but also so comforting. in his presence, i can be weak and flawed and completely real. yet he stays there. He continues to love me and helps me grow. so when i'm on the verge of being overwhelmed by everything around me, i can close my eyes and fill myself with the reality that i'm still walking with Jesus, the perfect companion.’
